If you can feel the scratch with your fingernail, Bolpol Mirror Finish will not polish it out. It is intended for very fine surface scratches only.
Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, dirt, and loose debris. Apply a small amount of polishing paste to a suitable soft cloth or polishing pad, or appropriate optical polishing tool. Work the paste evenly over the surface using light, controlled pressure, taking care not to generate excessive heat. Continue polishing until the desired level of clarity and finish is achieved, then remove any remaining residue with a clean, dry microfibre cloth.
For larger areas or more demanding applications, a suitable polishing pad or polishing wheel can be used with appropriate equipment to achieve a faster, more uniform finish. For precision optical components, always use suitable polishing equipment and techniques for the specific material and application. Test on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure compatibility and desired results.
